After witnessing the murder of his beloved grandfather, Cha Dong Joo falls
from the windowsill of his house and loses his hearing. Bong Woo Ri is an
intelligent woman who pretends to be dim-witted in order to protect the dignity of her mentally handicapped
step-father. Her step brother, Bong Ma Roo, runs away from home to escape the nonsense of his household. Sixteen years later, Bong Woo Ri
encounters her old childhood friend Cha Dong Joo who now pretends he can
hear and finds out that his supposed brother Jang Joon Ha is actually her long lost step brother, Bong Ma Roo.
