Getting inside and unraveling the minds of the most vicious criminals is not an easy task. Simon Bo Jin Yan is a brilliant criminal profiler from the US who is able to understand psychopathic criminals and crack down on the toughest cases. However, he retreats home to China in the aftermath of a traumatic encounter with a serial killer who had imprisoned and tortured Jin Yan. While in China, he hires Jian Yao as his assistant to help him with his work.
