Kim Hyun Woo and Hong Jung Min are South Korean natives who both happen to be first-year students at Harvard Law School. Jung Min is extremely smart and submerges himself in acamedics--allowing him to be a quick favorite of their Professor. Hyun Woo, on the other hand, finds difficulty adjusting to the college workload--putting him on the bad terms with the professor, who in turn, gives Hyun Woo an even harder time. Menawhile, both men encounter and fall for Lee Soo In, a third-year Korean student at Harvard Medical School. Competing for her love, the two men grow to resent each other even more.
Hyun Woo and Soo In grow closer to each and eventually start dating. However, their relationship is short-lived as Soo In joins an organization that provides medical care to patients in Third World countries. After spending a night together, Soo In abruptly leaves to work, shutting off all communication with Hyun Woo. Years later, after graduating from college. Hyun Woo is now an idealistic lawyer who prefers defending disenfranchised people in the legal system, whereas Jung Min is a hot shot corporate lawyer. The two end up on opposite sides of a a case for an international chemicals company; And even more, Soo In returns to Korea.
