Jeon Ji Hyeon is 31 years old, single, and is a work-a-holic. While she is more than capable at her job, her boss frequently steals her work
and never gives Ji Hyeon the recognition or credit she deserves. However, Ji
Hyeon has had enough of living backstage, and so she decides to keep her project proposal which she has worked diligently on for
the past 2 months. She travels to Japan with her co-workers to make the presentation,
but when she arrives, Ji Hyeon discovers that her name is not on the cover of the project proposal,
again! Ji Hyeon is completely fed up and yells at her boss. Still, she can't
bring herself to quit her job and so that night, she joins her boss and co-workers for drinks. There, she is humiliated further when her boss states that he doesn't approve of women who work hard and they are better off marrying. She gets up and goes to the bathroom. Meanwhile,
famous television producer, PD No Yong-Woo also travels to Japan to cast Kang Min who is a
hallyu superstar. PD No Young Woo goes to the filming set where Kang Min is working and they end up having an argument. That night, PD No Yong-Woo goes to a bar with his friend. At the bar, he spots
his ex-fiance who is Ji Hyeon with her co-workers. At the same time, Kang Min and a woman walk into the bar. When Ji Hyeon gets up to go to the bathroom she bumps into Kang Min.
Short tempered, Kang Min gets angry and chases after Ji Hyeon. PD No Yong-Woo
sees this and proceeds to follow them. Kang Min demands that Ji Hyeon pay for the wine
he dropped because of her. After this nighty, Jeonn Ji Hyeon goes back to the bar and pours ice on her boss. She leaves
and returns to Korea. Ji Hyeon quits her job and decides to pursue her lifetime dream of becoming a writer for a current affairs TV show
where she later encounters No Yong Woo and Kang Min again...
