Lin Chu Man was abandoned by her mother at an orphanage as a kid. She swore to herself that she would rise to wealth and marry a rich man so that she would no longer return to the struggles of poverty ever again. When she finds out that her latest boyfriend, Cai Jia Hao, is nothing more than a hired body double for the rich billionaire Mr. Norman, she immediately dumps him. Quickly afterwards, she loses her job to a younger model and her rich boyfriend that she had cheated on kicks her out of their home. With limited options, Lin Chu Man becomes Cai Jia Hao's new roommate. Their unexpected living arrangement forces the two to really understand one another and think deeply about their previous relationship. Lin Chu Man begins to question whether being rich is the key to true happiness or whether love conquers all.
